Church/Churchyard Working Parties 2008

 Many villagers and visitors admire our important church and its environs. Much effort is required to maintain these in an acceptable state. Working parties will be held on the following dates. These will commence at 10.00am and last for a maximum of three hours. Thursday1st May: Saturday 14th June: Thursday 7th August: Saturday 13th September: Wednesday 29th October

Help from any person will be appreciated irrespective of age or ability. It would be helpful if participants anticipating involvement in churchyard maintenance (weather permitting) could bring along tackle which they could use for light pruning etc.

To ensure the success of these parties, volunteers to lead one or more of them are needed. Persons willing to do this should contact either David Genever or Edward Priestley. The non complicated task would entail welcoming helpers and allotting pre-arranged work for them to do.
