The preparations were all complete, the weather got better and the crowds turned out in large numbers! Mums, dads and children all made the most of the events laid on and joined in enthusiastically!
Many classic cars and motorcycles came and their photographs are on the links to the left along with the other vehicle photos.
These pictures show a range of the events that visitors enjoyed...
from the Car Boot sale in the morning, the many stalls and the entertainment for the children. The Scarecrow Adventure trail threaded its way around the village and refreshments were available in various places. The whole village pulled together to provide one of the biggest events ever in the Uffington Scarecrow Adventure’s many years of fund raising for local groups. Thank you for visiting the website and, if you didn’t come to the Bank holiday weekend this year, perhaps we will see you next year - that is IF we can get the strength (and the marvellous volunteers!) to do it again!
