Village Hall Social Events
Please remember that social evenings take place in the Village Hall on the last Friday of each month from 7pm when a warm welcome awaits you.
Baby and Toddler Group
Tallington Village Hall - Tuesdays 10.30am-12pm
If you are a parent with little ones to amuse please come and join us.
This is a very informal group with loads of toys for the little ones and a chance for them to find some local friends at a young age.....In the meantime parents get a chance to have a coffee and a bit of ‘sanity’! All welcome. Cost £2.00.

Flying of the Flag
If you would like to celebrate a special event why not fly either the Union flag or St George's flag in Tallington. Any event can be celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, births, graduations . . ... anything you would like to celebrate for a nominal fee of just £5.
We will also publish your event in the Towers & Spires.

Social Evening: The next social evening will be held on Friday 25th Feb from 7 pm in the Village Hall.
Parish Council Family Fun Day on the Millennium Green: Remember to mark your calendar NOW for the Fun Day launch event on Saturday 28th May! There will be many stalls and activities for everyone - especially the children. Please donate any unwanted Christmas presents for Tombola Prizes or to the White Elephant stall! We would also welcome any fabric remnants for bunting etc. The success of the day relies on the help and participation of many volunteers. If you can spare a few hours beforehand or on the day please contact Jan Mayling on 740880 or Shirley Taylor on 740551. My apologies to the people who expected the Parish Council meeting to be held on 18th January. Unfortunately I did not learn of the changed date until after the Towers and Spires information had been sent in.
Flying the Flag: The flag was flown on Christmas Day by Ann Needham to celebrate Noel's 70th Birthday and again on 27th December by the Needham family to celebrate Aunt Iris's birthday. Please remember that you, too, can Fly the Flag to celebrate any occasion by contacting Wally Knox on 740268 - the cost is only £5 which goes towards the running costs of our Village Hall.
Post Office: Remember the Post Office is open every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon between 2 and 4pm in the Village Hall to anyone wishing to use it. Please try to, as your custom could make the difference between it staying open or - dreadful thought - our losing it.
