The Village Hall & Playing Fields

Run by the Tallington Village Hall & Playing Fields Association whose objectives are 'to advance the social, cultural and community activities on behalf of the residents of the parish of Tallington'.

It has a management committee chaired by Wally Knox; the trustees being the Parish Council. The Committee welcomes ideas from any villager on activities that the village could enjoy.
Notices advertising organised activities are placed on the 3 village notice boards around the village and leaflets delivered to every house.

The village hall and/or annexe is also available for hire by residents of the village; for social activities or meetings. Details of charges and bookings can be made through the Bookings Secretary, Chris Bamford.

Flying the Flag

If you would like to celebrate a special event why not fly either the Union flag or St George's flag in Tallington. Any event can be celebrated, birthdays, anniversaries, births, graduations .... anything you would like to celebrate for a nominal fee of just £5. We will also publish your event in the local Towers & Spires church magazine.
