Parish Council - Meetings are usually held every two months in the Village Hall annexe from 7.30pm. Further details will be on the PC notice boards and in the Towers & Spires magazine. -------------------------------------------------------------
Vacant Parish Council Council Seats
Four vacancies have arisen on the Parish Council following the resignations of John Allan, Gordon Couzens, Wally Knox and Rob Sorrell.
There is a need for four new Councillors to be elected or appointed for the remainder of the term of the present Council (ie until May 2011).
As detailed in the vacancy notice below, a by-election will be held if 10 electors of the parish so request by 11 September, preferably on the by-election form (also copied below). If no by-election is requested by that date, the Council will then invite residents to express an interest in being co-opted to the Council.
