Michelle joined Lincolnshire Police in February 2010 as a Special Constable. Following many weeks of training she was posted to Stamford Police Station and was mentored by a local police officer. It was in this role that she enjoyed spending Saturday evenings on duty dealing with anti-social behaviour outside the local pubs and night clubs in Stamford because of her enjoyment of engaging with people and helping where possible, to making the community a safer place to live.
Michelle immensely enjoyed her time as a special constable and the challenges that it brought to her every day life. It was due to this role that she realised that she would like to pursue a full time career within the police. She was made aware of the recent PCSO recruitment drive, so decided to apply
After attending an interview and being successful, Michelle started her training at Lincoln Headquarters in Nov 2010. She soon completed her training and was posted to Stamford to be mentored by a local PCSO. Michelle is now stationed at Market Deeping and looks forward to working with and alongside the local community and encountering the many challenges that this role will bring her.
