Otherwise known as Jay, I joined Lincolnshire Police in November 2009 as Police Community Support Officer. Since this time, I have worked in many different environments ranging from rural communities to the urbanised Grantham town beat.
In my current post, I work out of Stamford Police station serving the communities of Stamford, Bourne, Billingborough and Market Deeping.
I previously worked on the railways, based at Bedford train station. I developed my investigation skills during the 7 years I worked there, assisting the British Transport Police in countless investigations and operations.
This eventually convinced me to pursue a career in the Police, which had been a lifelong ambition. I was keen on the idea of becoming a Police Officer when I started, but since joining, I have discovered the true joys of Community Policing and feel very content in my current role as a PCSO.
